Laser line water
These are taken with the line laser to create a slit scan of water as it flows down the rollers on the Cherwell at Mesopotania. The laser allows for a higher time resolution than video slit scan. although it looks very much like a frozen frame of running water, it’s actually a scan of water as it passes.

This is closer to what it looks like – the image is oversaturated monochromatic red so I’ve used false colour to make it more water like.
